Biography - Allen S. Ferg, Sculpter

I was raised in a family of professionally trained artists that span
many generations. I inherited an appreciation for the art of the
early masters and their classic sculptures that grace museums worldwide.
I am deeply indebted to the many skilled sculptors who have encouraged
me to pursue my vision. In 2010, I was honored to be juried into
the elite outdoor Sculpture in the South show in Summerville, South
Carolina.
My sculptures represent movement, energy, grace and beauty in the human
form. Each piece represents a passionate vision translated into a
three-dimensional form visible to the naked eye.
I proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam and thereafter
practiced law for 31 years. I moved with my family to Georgia
after I retired and am now privileged to create sculptures in my home
studio. I have also been pleased to teach children and adults the
love for sculpture.
Commissions for portraits, figurative sculptures and other types of
sculptures (half-size, life-size and larger) are welcome. requests
